Amanda is a life-long cat person and current parent to two sweet cats, Louis and Dale. She is also a visual artist and educator. Recently, while at Pratt Institute's MFA program, Amanda fostered a cat named Frankie who was found hiding in a closet in the printmaking studios covered in splotches of blue ink. Frankie has since been adopted by a close family member. Amanda is inspired by cats because they share many qualities with creative people - cats can be sensitive, curious, bold, observant, humorous, and playful.
