I came to NYC five years ago for art school and I haven’t looked back since. I live in Brooklyn with a 12 pound gray and white cat named Winston. He’s noisy at all hours and he loves to steal my food. Technically he’s my roommate’s cat, but he and I spend a lot of time together. He’s very good with clicker training and melts my heart every time he reluctantly gives me his paw for a handshake. He is one of many cats I have had in my life. I first fell in love with cats when I was a teenager and my father brought home a junkyard cat. She was totally feral and wanted nothing to do with me for over a year! Earning her friendship and trust was the most rewarding experience I ever had and I’ve been a cat lady ever since.

I have way too much experience with all types of cats — feral, senior, kittens, sick, overweight, garbage thieves, escape artists, and more. I just love cats; it’s their quirks that make them so fun and exciting to befriend. Besides cats I am passionate about illustration, sustainability, food equity, Werner Herzog, peanut m&ms, and so much more. I love baking sourdough bread, collecting cookie jars, gallery hopping, and listening to any new music I can get my hands on.
